Mariam Ottimofiore has been an expat since her early childhood, growing up bilingually with Urdu and English. Now she is a parent herself raising multilingual and multicultural children.

Mariam Ottimofiore was born in Pakistan but shortly after her birth, she
went to live in Bahrain and a few years later the family moved to the
US. Ever since Mariam has been moving around the globe: Europe, Africa,
the Middle East.
When she met her German-Italian husband her life became more colorful
than it already was. Meanwhile the couple has three children of their own
who get from their parents the greatest gift there could ever be – a
multilingual and and multicultural upbringing.
Mariam combined her personal experience and professional expertise to
write a honest and uplifting book to help other families on the move.
